Why we are here

Some of us have seen the cost of war up close.

We are a board of neighbors — veterans among us — who watched too many heroes struggle to find help after coming home. So we built a place to change that.

“We formed this organization because too many veterans are lost to suicide — and it is unacceptable to us that the men and women we call heroes cannot get the help they need. Our mission is to change that.”

Lace up and stand with our veterans. Join us bright and early at Washington Lake Park for a morning of community, fitness, and gratitude. All proceeds support programs that benefit veterans — so bring the whole family and run or walk with us for a great cause.
